Questions
How do I invite my partner?
Tap Invite on the board, or go to Settings → Sharing and tap Invite your partner. Send the link with Messages or Mail.
Your partner needs their own iCloud account and Posted for Two installed on their device.
My partner can’t join
- Check you are both signed in to iCloud, with iCloud Drive turned on.
- Your partner should open the invite link on the device that has the app installed.
- You each need a different Apple Account. You can’t invite the account you’re signed in with yourself.
My notes aren’t syncing
- Check you’re signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is on.
- Check you have a network connection.
- Open the app: it syncs when it opens, and you can tap Sync now in Settings.
Apple Watch syncs directly with iCloud, so it works even when your phone isn’t nearby.
How do I leave or delete a board?
Go to Settings → Sharing. If you made the board you can Stop sharing or Delete board, which removes it from iCloud for both of you. If you were invited, tap Leave board.
I’m getting a new phone
Sign in to the same iCloud account on your new phone and install the app. It finds your board automatically.
Does it cost anything?
No. Posted for Two is free, with no ads.
How do I turn off notifications, hide notes in widgets, or use App Lock?
All three are in Settings. Choose which notifications you get under Let me know when…, then use Hide note text in widgets and the App Lock switch (Lock with Face ID, or Touch ID on some devices) just below.
